Lagar d'Amprius Nazarín is a very special wine that forms part from the new edition of  'Buñuel's Wine' with Kolenda's one. Conceived and designed to pay homage to Luis Buñuel, the most universal Spanish and Aragonese filmmaker, has been called Nazarín because of one of his most famous films. Nazarín is starring Marga López and Francisco Rabal, in 1959 and inspired by the homonymous novel by Benito Pérez Galdos (1895). In the design of his bottle we can see serigraphed in white vinyl on a black background scenes from different movies of Buñuel like 'Nazarín' ,'Un perro andaluz' or 'Viridiana'. The wine that it contains is Garnacha 100% of the 2015 vintage. An original wine with which you will guess and surprise, for its design and its flavour.

Product Description

Lagar d’Amprius Nazarín 2018 is made of 100% fine grenache. Five-years-old vineyards are specially treated in order to obtain a high-quality fruit. An extremely limited production of 1,5 kg per vine.

The harvest is always done at night, trying to pick the grapes at the lowest temperature possible. After bottling, the wine rests in the bottle for 6 months before its release. This is a wine that has a positive evolution in the bottle for at least four years.

Ruby coloured medium intensity red wine with a slight rosy variation on the edging. In the nose, the most prominent aromas are red fruit, cherry, kirsch chilli, and sloe. There are violet and rose floral tones as well as a subtle presence of strawberry yogurt. In the mouth, it has a straight entrance and a quick, warm and glycaremic passing. It has middle body and medium acidity.

Excellent as an accompaniment of fish dishes such as salmon, tuna fish, mackerel, or fleshy white fishes such as monkfish and codfish with tomato, black olives, ham or truffle sauce. It also goes well with veal white meat stew, roasted wild chicken and even with cream or oiled cheese.

Best served at 14ºC in “Borgogna” glass.
